Director of User Acquisition – Bay Area (NoCal)

The Director of User Acquisition will be responsible for developing the strategy of acquiring new players for Company games, to successfully manage campaigns across multiple partners, and test new channels to find innovative ways to reach potential players. This person will design & execute the user acquisition strategy for all Company games. As a key leader in marketing at Company, the ideal candidate will also be expected to build out a user acquisition team over the coming 12 months, and will be a member of the broader Company Leadership Team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop, execute, and manage all user acquisition efforts at Company
• Partner with new and existing developers to design marketing plans and determine user acquisition budgets
• Source and test new user acquisition channels / partners, and optimization opportunities to drive campaign performance
• Direct user acquisition process & methodology improvement in conjunction with product and marketing teams to ensure ROI maximization
• Recruit user acquisition team and build out Company’s internal user acquisition abilities to scale
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Work Experience
• 6+ years of user acquisition experience
• 8+ years of digital marketing experience; preferably in mobile marketing
• Proven success leading user acquisition campaigns for mobile games
• Recent mobile game experience required
• User acquisition for Top 25 Grossing games or Core games is a plus
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistic, Economics, or other related field or equivalent work experience
• MBA preferred
Knowledge/Skills
• Analytical and metrics-driven
• Knowledge and passion for mobile games
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and comfortable in engaging communication with all levels of management, both internal and external.
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Ability to lead and manage teams
