Lead Game Designer – Los Angeles
Job Description:
We are looking for a talented & experienced Lead Game Designer for an ambitious new mobile social casino project. This position involves the creative design and production of overall game specs. Candidate must demonstrate proven experience in game design, passionate insight on Social Casino, solid communication skills, strong self-motivation, and bold creativity. Responsibilities:
∙ Lead the overall creative design of mobile social casino game: from concept to features / requirements
∙ Produce and maintain game specs documents that feature game flows and monetization strategies
∙ Work with project managers, developers, artists, QA, and marketing team to deliver product to market
∙ Get involved in the entire product lifecycle from design & development to launch, marketing, updates
Qualifications:
∙ 2+ years of Game Design experience in social and/or mobile games, with insight on casino games
└ Expertise in social game design involving systems design, user experience, game balancing
└ In-depth knowledge of mobile game environment: phone/tablet, iOS/android, native app, free-to-play
└ Passion for playing & creating social casino games, specifically: Slots, Bingo, and/or Poker
∙ Excellent verbal and written English communications skills
Pluses:
∙ AAA game development experience
∙ International working experience
∙ Proficiency in Excel and a solid background in mathematics, statistics, or computer science
About the Studio and Project:
∙ Studio is part of a global top-tier game company, and is based abroad (thus, need to telecommute)
∙ New project is in kick-off phase, and will be serviced & marketed by a global mobile game publisher
